Hello Medium, I’m back… Almost!
The last time my productivity was on, was in August 2024. It’s been six months and I never imagined I’d have to go back to Medium so soon because of the new projects I’m working on. I didn’t really come back, I came here because I saw that most of the authors I admired let their writing productivity drop after they took on new projects like me.
I wanted so much to make writing my hobby, but unfortunately I can’t keep up my productivity like I used to. maintaining productivity in writing breaks me, but if I went back four years, I wouldn’t be saying this. I get all the notifications from Medium about the best and featured articles, changes and updates, but why have I lost my productivity?
I really don’t know what’s going on. The truth is that many Medium authors are losing their productivity too, something I found very strange. last published in December 2024, last published in August 2024, last published in August 2023.
Tim has lost productivity because he’s dedicated to Substack, Jessica to her Ok Doomer project, me because I’m focused on investing in the stock market. Each one has been driven to devote more time to their personal project, and that’s not a good thing, it feels like a wind has blown through and everything is over out of the blue.
